As NOT Seen On TV

May 6, 2020

They are healthy vibrant children condemned to a brutal death by their own families and tribe. To most in their ancient Ethiopian tribe, they were known as ‘Mingi’, or ‘cursed’. But one man saw these children very differently. He saw them not as a curse, but a blessing. This is the true story of Lale Labuko, a member of a remote tribe on Ethiopia's border with Kenya and Sudan, who risked his own life to rescue and raise over 50 children, otherwise destined for a torturous end. This is a human story like no other.  A story about heroics, forgiveness, and most of all, about the true meaning of the word ‘LOVE’.
